Thank you for choosing to book with Colours Guest House. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

  • For a one night stay, payment in full is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable..
  • For stays of 2 nights or more, a 30% deposit is required.
  • If booking multiple rooms, a 30% deposit is required on each room regardless of length of stay.
  • Your booking will be held for 7 days pending receipt of deposit. Cheques to be made payable to “Colours Guest House”
  • Balance due is payable on arrival – CASH OR CARDS ONLY * A fee of 2% is made for credit card payments, no charge for debit cards.
  • We do not accept single sex parties (i.e. Stag and Hen night groups). 
  • We reserve the right to decline any inappropriate booking request

In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your booking, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If suitable accommodation is not available (or unacceptable to you) then we will refund all monies already paid by you and confirm that you will not be liable for any further payment to us.
 
Rights of Refusal
Colours Guest House reserve the unconditional right to terminate a booking in the event of unreasonable conduct which in our opinion is likely to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to other customers, employees, property or to any third party. This includes any guest who fails to advise us of a serious medical condition or disability or if part of a Stag or Hen group. If you are prevented from continuing your stay as a result of termination our responsibility for your stay thereupon ceases. Full cancellation charges will apply and we will be under no obligation whatsoever for any refund, compensation or loss you may incur.
 
  • Check in times: After 3.00pm unless by prior arrangement
  • Check out times: Before 11.00am
  • Pets by arrangement - additional charge of £5 per pet per stay
  • For security and insurance purposes, No unregistered guests are allowed into the Guest House without prior consent.
  • No food permitted in rooms – Guests may use the dining room on request
  • Towels are for use in the Guest House only, and must not be used outside
Damages and Breakages
  • We are sure you will take care whilst you stay with us, and we acknowledge that accidents sometimes happen. We do however reserve the right to charge for any damage, deep cleaning of heavily soiled bedding or stained carpets etc. or breakages which we consider to be deliberately or recklessly caused, for any items discovered missing after you depart, or for the cost of the room for any time period for which it is considered un-usable due to damage.
  • There will be a £15 charge for lost keys.

Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Privacy Policy

  • Under the Immigration (UKBA) (Hotel Records) Order 1972, all hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast etc. must keep a record of the full name and nationality of their guests over 16 years or age. Aliens must also record the number and place of issue of their passport, their nationality and their next destination. To that end a Guest Registration form must be completed upon arrival.
  • Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
Smoking Policy
On 26 March 2006 the smoking, health and social care act 2005 came into force prohibiting smoking in enclosed public places, including bars, hotels, and guest houses. If we find that guests have been smoking in the guestrooms or anywhere on the premises, then we reserve the right to ask the guest to leave immediately, and the guest will remain liable for the entire cost of the remainder of their stay plus an additional charge of £200 will be payable to cover additional cleaning and laundry costs.
